Carlos Fisher Throws Eight Solid Innings In 4-2 Loss to Mississippi

by @ 11:10 pm. Filed under Carlos Fisher, Jesse Gutierrez, Chattanooga Lookouts - May 2007, Luis Bolivar

Carlos Fisher had another awesome start and while he didn’t pick up the win, he did what he could to keep the Lookouts in the game.  He gave up one run on four hits and a walk with eight strikeouts in eight innings.  He now has 35 strikeouts in 31 innings since being promoted Double A.  In all of his five Double A starts, he’s gone at least five innings and in three of those five starts he didn’t allow a single run.

Jesse Gutierrez doubled and drove in a run.   Luis Bolivar went two for three with a double and a run.
