Carlos Fisher Wins Third Straight Start

by @ 11:09 pm. Filed under Sarasota Reds - April 2007, Carlos Fisher, Dan Conway, Jeremiah Piepkorn, Michael Griffin, Craig Tatum

Carlos Fisher has handled himself quite well in the Florida League.  He’s won all three of his starts and in this one, he gave up just a single run on four hits with five strikeouts in six innings of work. In 19 innings this year, he’s given up just one earned run, thirteen hits and just two walks.  That’s a nice start and once the weather warms up, it might be worth seeing what the right hander can do in Double A.

Craig Tatum had a nice day at the plate.  He went three for four with two doubles, a run and an RBI.  Michael Griffin and Jeremiah Piepkorn also had three hits in the 5-1 win.
