You don’t see this every day. The Mudcats were outhit 11-7 but on the scoreboard, it was a blowout the other way with a final score of 12-3. Not too many teams can survive a nine run inning and that’s what the Mudcats gave up in the second inning yesterday. Most of those came off of Misael DeJesus, who was credited with eight of those runs on five hits and three walks in just 1 1/3 innings. The loss dropped him to 1-1 on the season.
Sean Henry was one of the hitting stars. He went two for four with a double, two RBIs and a run. Jose Castro was two for two with a run.
The Mudcats dropped their third straight and they fell to 4-5 on he season with a rough day at the plate in a 4-0 loss to Mobile. They picked up just four hits, all of which were singles. There were no hitting stars in this one folks.

Zero runs and just five hits does not a win make. All five of the Mudcats hits were singles and only one hitter, leadoff hitter Sean Henry, had a multi-hit game with two safeties in the 2-0 loss.
A decent start by Travis Wood went to waste. He gave up two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
