Travis Webb was spectacular in the Dragons 6-1 win over Wisconsin. He gave up just one walk in six innings of no hit ball and he struck out five. Pedro Viola was also very good and he gave up a solo homerun and he struck out five in just three innings of relief.
Billy Rojo was the hitting star. He went one for two with a double and an RBI.
The Dragons blew out Beloit 11-1 and Juan Francisco led the way with two homerun and four RBIs. Anthony Esquer also had a nice game and he went three for four with two runs.
Daryl Thompson threw six shutout innings and he improved to 4-0 on the season. He gave up just one hit and he struck out six.
A pretty good start by Jordan Smith went to waste in the Dragons 3-2 loss to Beloit. He gave up just two unearned runs on three hits and a walk with six strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
Logan Parker had a nice day at the plate. He went two for three with a walk and an RBI.
The Dragons were held to just five hits in their 4-2 loss to Beloit. All five hits were singles and no Dragon reached base more then once.
Misael DeJesus took the loss. He gave up a run in 2 1/3 innings of relief.

The Dragons got it done and their hitting star was Denis Phipps. He went three for three with a homer and two runs. Juan Francisco doubled and he scored in the 3-2 win.
Rafael Gonzalez improved to 3-0 with the win. He gave up two runs on six hits and a walk with five strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.

Drew Stubbs was the hitting star. He went two for four with a two run homer in the 2-0 win.
This game was pretty ugly as Burlington scored fourteen runs in the first five innings. Jordan Smith took the loss and he was hit hard for eight runs on eight hits and two walks with three strikeouts in just 2 2/3 innings.
Denis Phillips had a pretty good game at the plate in the 14-7 loss. He went three for five with two RBIs and a run. Chris Valaika went two for four with a run and an RBI.
Chris Valaika got it done at the plate in the Dragons 9-5 win over Quad Cities. He went four for five with a double, a triple, three runs and two RBIs. Jason Louwama and Drew Stubbs both went yard.
Sean Watson had a very nice and he improved to 2-0. He gave up just two runs on four hits and a walk with ten strikeouts in five innings.
This game was ugly. The Dragons lost 15-4 and it was pretty much a team effort. No pitchers lasted more then 2 1/3 innings and five of the six gave up at least two runs.
Justin Tordi doubled and drove in two runs. Logan Parker singled, drew a walk and scored twice.

Sean Watson got it done with five solid innings in the Dragons 8-1 win. He gave up just a single run on five hits and one walk with two strikeouts in five innings of work.

Dayton used four pitchers and all four did their job today. Starter Jamie Arneson gave up three hits and four walks with five strikeouts in four innings. Misael DeJesus picked up the win and he threw 2 1/3 innings of shutout ball.
Chris Heisey drove in two runs and tripled. Jason Louwsma also had a nice game and he went two for two with two RBIs and a run.
The Dayton Dragons did a number on South Bend as they blew them out 11-2. Juan Francisco led the way and he went three for five with a triple, a homerun, two RBIs and three runs. Anthony Esquer also had a nice game with two runs and two RBIs.

The Dragons needed a late run but they outlasted the White Caps in an 8-7 game that saw both sides combine for five errors. Jordan Smith was decent in his start and while he gave up four runs, just one of them was earned. He gave up four hits and a walk with six strikeouts in five innings. Jose Rojas closed things out with an impressive ninth inning. He struck out two and didn’t give up a baserunner.

Drew Stubbs capped off a three run sixth inning as the Dragons came from behind to beat the West Michigan White Caps 3-2. Stubbs and Chris Heisey were the only two Dragons with two hits in the game.
Sean Watson had a nice start. He gave up just one run on seven hits with six strikeouts in five innings of work. Marcos Mateo struck out two as he got the final four batters out and he picked up the save.
