Bats Rack Up Ten Runs In Blowout Win Over Buffalo

There were plenty of hitting stars in the Bats 10-1 win over Buffalo.  Dewayne Wise went three for five with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs.  Earl Snyder hit a three run homer to help out the cause.

Lost in all of the offense was a nice start by Mike Gosling.  He gave up just one run on six hits with one strikeout in 6 2/3 innings.

Dewayne Wise Homers Twice in Bats Blowout Win

Dewayne Wise got it done at the plate in the Bats 13-3 win over Toledo. He went two for five with two homeruns, four RBIs and three runs.  Aaron Herr had four hits and he homered while Edwin Encarnacion homered and finished with three hits.

Mike Gosling got it done on the mound.  He improved to 2-2 on the season and he gave up three runs on eleven hits with six strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings.

Bats Edge Richmond For Second Straight Win

The Bats got it done with the long ball in their 6-5, ten inning win over Richmond. Joey Votto finished with two doubles, a homerun and three RBIs and DeWayne Wise homered twice and scored three runs to lead the way for the Bats at the plate.

Tom Shearn was hit hard and he gave up four runs in 6 1/3 innings. Wes Wilkerson struck out two and improved to 2-0 with a shutout tenth

Bats Lose Fourth Straight Game in Pitchers Duel

Bobby Livingston had a pretty good start today for the Bats but at the end of the day, he dropped to 0-2 because the hitters picked up just one run.  He gave up two runs on four hits with four strikeouts in seven innings.

Earl Snyder drove in the only run for the Bats.  DeWaynee Wise went two for three with a triple and a run.

Bats Lose in Eleven

Louisville lost a tough one tonight as they blew a 2-0 lead and then eventually lost the game in eleven innings.  Tom Shearn threw five shutout innings but Wes Wilkerson gave up two runs to tie it and then Steven Kelly lost in the eleventh.

Dewayne Wise had a solid game at the plate.  He went two for four with a double and a run.

Mark Bellhorn Drives in Four in Bats Second Straight Win

Mark Bellhorn got it done at the plate today for the bats.  He went two for five with a homerun and four RBIs.  Anderson Machado had two hits and two RBIs while Dewayne Wise had two hits, including a triple, and two runs scored.

Phil Dumatrait picked up the win with a solid outing.  He gave up one unearned run on two hits and two walks with five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
