Jamie Arneson Roughed Is Roughed Up By Loons

Jamie Arneson was knocked around for four runs in just four innings as the Dragons lost to the Loons 5-4.  He gave up the four runs on six hits and a walk with five strikeouts.

Brandon Waring had a nice day at the plate.  He went three for four with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs.

GCL Reds Held to One Run In Loss to GCL Twins

The GCL Reds had a tought time at the plate in their 3-1 loss to the GCL Twins.  Jose Bastardo went two for three with a solo homerun in the loss.  Kevyn Feiner went three for four with a double.

A nice start by Jamie Arneson went to waste.  He gave up just one unearned run on five hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings of work.

Jamie Arneson Is Hit Hard in Loss to Clinton

Jamie Arneson gave up five runs and he didn’t even finish the fifth inning in the Dragons 6-4 loss to Clinton.  He gave up five hits and three walks and he struck out two.

Denis Phipps was the hitting star in the loss.  He went two for four with a double, two RBIs and a run.

Dragons Edge Fort Wayne In Pitchers Duel

Dayton picked up a 2-1 win over Fort Wayne with some nice pitching.  Jamie Arneson pitched four innings and gave up just one run in his start while Pedro Viola picked up the win with three no-hit innings.

Denis Phipps was the hitting star. He went two for three and he scored on of the two runs.

Dayton Pitchers Strike Out Fourteen in Shutout Win

Dayton used four pitchers and all four did their job today.  Starter Jamie Arneson gave up three hits and four walks with five strikeouts in four innings.  Misael DeJesus picked up the win and he threw 2 1/3 innings of shutout ball.

Chris Heisey drove in two runs and tripled.  Jason Louwsma also had a nice game and he went two for two with two RBIs and a run.
