This game was pure ugly.  The offense managed just five hits and they couldn’t score, and the pitchers yielded ten runs.  Humberto Sosa was the standout at the plate.  He went two for three.

Timothy Crabbe took the loss and he fell to 0-1 despite being the most effective pitcher of the bunch.  He gave up a run on two hits and two walks with five strikeouts in three innings.  Each of the next three pitchers gave up at least two runs each.
