Lookouts Lose Fifth Straight In Shutout Loss to Jaxx

by @ 11:56 pm. Filed under Carlos Fisher, Chattanooga Lookouts - May 2007

The Lookouts dropped their fifth straight and they were held to three hits in a 2-0 loss to the Jaxx.  Nobody reached base more the once and nobody had an extra base hit in the loss.

A nice start by Carlos Fisher went to waste.  He gave up four hits and three walks with four strikeouts in five shutout innings.

    Blade,

Carlos Fisher must be the least publicized prospect the Reds have that is doing so well. Do you know what he throws and how his stuff is rated?

I just located your blog and enjoy it.

    Thanks!

  2. Blade Stevens Says:

    Roger,

According to John Sickels prospect book, he has a low 90s fastball but his slider and changeup are mediocre. He pegged his a potential sleeper and he also said that he does a nice job of keeping the ball down and that his fastball has some sink.
