Louisville Gets Back On Track With Double Header Sweep Over Chiefs

by @ 5:53 pm. Filed under Louisville Bats - April 2007, Mark Bellhorn, Bobby Livingston, Earl Snyder, Chad Moeller, Gary Majewski, Ricky Stone

The Bats picked up two wins today in a couple of close games against the Syracuse Chiefs.  In the first game, Chad Moeller led the offense in the 6-5 win.  He went two for three with a double, a homerun, three RBIs and two runs.  Mark Bellhorn went two for four with an RBI.  Gary Majewski picked up the win with an inning of shutout relief.

The second game was a little more low scoring, but it was a win none the less as the Bats won it 3-2.  Bobby Livingston gave up a bunch of hits (12) but only two baserunners crossed the plate in 5 2/3 innings.  Ricky Stone picked up the win with 1 1/3 innings of shutout relief.  Earl Snyder was the hitting star and he went two for two with a walk, an RBI and a run.
