Tom Shearn looked very sharp in his start today.  He gave up just one unearned run on two hits and two walks with four strikeouts in seven innings.  Unfortunately, the pen couldn’t hold in the final two innings and the hitters racked up only three hits so he picked up a no decision for his troubles.

Earl Snyder picked up two of those three hits.  Aaron Herr accounted for both Bats runs in the 4-2 loss with a two runs homer.
